A Glance Back at 2011

As Jim and I started to talk about our end of year post for 2011, we kept going back and forth about all of the wonderful moments we shared with our couples over the course of the year. How could we ever widdle it down to just one or two images to sum up the year?

So we decided not to pick and choose but to select one image from each of the 22 amazing and wonderful weddings we had the pleasure of being a part of. We hope that you enjoy taking a walk down memory lane with us and our couples and are just as excited as we are to see what 2012 has in store

We absolutely love following a family’s journey ans the D. family is no exception! From maternity sessions to mini sessions, we’ve had the pleasure of working with them over the last year and a half. Reconnecting with old friends is one of the many perks of this job and this session was no exception. We capped off our 2011 wedding season with one of the most amazing couples we’ve met to date. Melissa + James planned their wedding from their home in Nashville, TN and made it look like a breeze… that is until the freak snow storm of Halloween weekend came in through town. But what did Melissa + James do? They took it in stride and realized that ever important fact of a wedding day – come the end of the day, you’re married to the love of your life. As anyone knows, trying to get everyone in the family together for a group picture can be a challenge.
