The holiday’s are about one thing for Jim + I – spending lots of time with our family. As the new year approaches, we’ve had the chance to reflect on the many families we’ve met during 2010 and we couldn’t be happier to have been a part of their lives, if even for just a short period of time. Happy Holiday’s to all of the wonderful Families we’ve met during 2010… and here’s to all the one we have yet to meet in 2011!
Tana’s favorite… from Eva’s newborn session.

Jim’s favorite… from Baby Lilly + Big Brother Tommy’s family session.

My love of wedding photography is only slightly out shadowed by my adoration of all things baby. Maternity sessions are such a nice opportunity for Jim and I to meet up with some very excited soon-to-be parents and capture that glow that a pregnant woman has. And the belly! Oh how I love the round, beautiful baby belly. There is something about seeing a baby belly that makes me smile!
Tana’s favorite… from Becky + Kevin’s maternity session.

Jim’s being a rule breaker again… Jim’s two favorites… both from Sandra + Owen’s maternity session.

When it comes time to boogie, Jim and I aim our cameras to the dance floor and let the mayhem ensue. We love when we capture the perfect shot that is totally unstaged, organic, and just happens right before our eyes. And even, on occassion, we will attempt to one up each other for the best Dancing shot of the night.
Tana’s favorite… from Candace + Matt’s August wedding.

Jim’s favorite… Julee + Pat’s July Wedding

Weddings are full of unplanned moments. Some of our favorite shots of 2010 fall into the Unexpected category…
Tana’s favorite from… Allison + Trevor’s wedding. We see lots and lots of people using iPhones, Blackberry’s, and Droid’s to capture images and video’s of their friends weddings but when I spotted this dude using his Flip Camera, I knew I had to utilize his video’ing!

Jim’s favorite from… Julee + Pat’s July Providence College wedding. This one might take some explaining – For some reason Pat’s Best Man decided that a good place to put the rings would be in the vase of holy water (as you can see in the first photo). The priest then asked for the rings for the blessing and exchange and they had to fish them out, as you can see in the rest of the photos. Completely unexpected and everyone had a good giggle as they soon realized what had happened.

Bridal parties are a mixed bag… you get the wild ones, shy ones, chatty ones, emotional ones and everything in between. And if we’re being honest, we LOVE our bridal parties… not as much as our brides + grooms but our bridal parties are pretty top notch. Our favorite Bridal Party images are of the male sides of the bridal party by pure coincidence…
Tana’s favorite… from Allison + Trevor’s October wedding. I’m pretty sure I adore this shot for the crop, the handsome smiles, the sharply dressed men, and the stunning boutonnieres.

Jim’s favorite… from Ashley + Matt’s July wedding. At first glance, this shot seems like a typical shot of the groom with his dudes. Look a bit closer… notice anything particularly funny about one of the ring bearer’s? Yeah, we laughed out loud while processing this image.
