Ever meet someone and think “I feel like I’ve known this person for far longer than I have?”.  This is exactly how Jim and I felt after meeting Melissa + James last weekend for their engagement session.  We laughed, kibitzed, and marched around Wickford like old friends out for a stroll, getting attacked by “killer” mosquitos .  We had a seriously good time with these two lovebirds and we’re all sorts of excited to celebrate their late fall wedding next month.  Enjoy your preview, guys!

Cake smashes may very well be one of my favorite sessions to photograph! Between the adorable baby who is on the verge of toddlerhood to the oh so proud mom & dad who are beaming while watching their baby, it truly is a fabulous experience.  What makes it even more fabulous is having a first birthday cake smash with a family whom you’ve watched grow over the past year.  Seeing sassy Miss Eva teeter around the park while Mom and Dad are just giddy over her is such a pleasure.  And let me tell you, Miss eva is going to be just as gorgeous as her Mommy… Daddy better lock the doors now!  Enjoy your preview, D. family!

Jim and I met up with these two love birds for their engagement session at one of the most versatile places to shoot – Roger Williams Park.  Although we’ve been there more times then we can count (read: twice on the same day as theirs engagement session!), we love the different nooks and crannies that the park has to offer.  M + J are huge Boston Sports fans and we can’t wait to see how they tie that into their wedding in October.  Enjoy your preview, guys!
