Jim and I really adore when we have the pleasure to work with couples whom we’ve met even before we were their photographers! Katie was a bridesmaid for the lovely Mallory + Seth during their 4th of July nuptials last year so needless to say, we were excited to meet up with them for their engagement session in anticipation of their June wedding this year.  We had the perfect April night for an engagement session at Colt State Park and loved gallivanting around the park to capture their images.  Enjoy your preview, guys!

Let me just state for the record that being a photographer who is practically 9 months pregnant and shooting a session in a brewery is sheer torture .  Luckily I like Emily and Steve A LOT so I pushed through Ha! Jim and I had such a good time at this session chatting and laughing with E + S… they may very well be one of the most adorable couples we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with and we cannot wait for their August wedding.  Enjoy your preview, guys

Jim, Samantha and I kicked off our 2012 wedding season with one of the most fun couples we’ve ever met – Kim & Connor!  The couple, who planned their wedding from Indiana did such a superb job of incorporating lots of glam and fun in to their big day.  From very well dressed puppies to a fierce wardrobe change for the glowing bride, it was a day full of love for these two.  Enjoy your preview, guys!

As Jim and I started to talk about our end of year post for 2011, we kept going back and forth about all of the wonderful moments we shared with our couples over the course of the year. How could we ever widdle it down to just one or two images to sum up the year?

So we decided not to pick and choose but to select one image from each of the 22 amazing and wonderful weddings we had the pleasure of being a part of.  We hope that you enjoy taking a walk down memory lane with us and our couples and are just as excited as we are to see what 2012 has in store

We absolutely love following a family’s journey ans the D. family is no exception!  From maternity sessions to mini sessions, we’ve had the pleasure of working with them over the last year and a half.  Watching sassy Miss E. at this latest session made us smile the entire time as she filled the park with her infectious laugh and big brown eyes.  Enjoy your preview, guys!
